J-066 is the weapon and avionic test bed of the KLu. It is nicknamed Orange Jumper because all the addition are painted orange (à la black box). It sports some striking white wing tanks painted with photographic focus target.
The project was scaled on the Academy Sufa (converted to MLU) in 1/32.
Most of the item are provided as decals. Masks are supplied to paint the white background where necessary. (KLU roundels, orange fin flash, orange tail badge, Friesland fins…
Instructions:
- Apply standard MLU scheme.
- Friesland fins are made by first painting the tip of the F-16 outer fins in white with the masks then apply the decals.
- Top of tail has the orange tail band – use the masks and paint orange.
- KLu roundels can be either fully painted with masks or simply apply the round masks and paint white before applying the supplied decal.

Details of the wing tanks:
- Use kit’s decal for stencilling except for the Rescue text which is different than US standards. Apply provided masks, paint white then apply black + transparent text decal.

- Top of the right wing black and white stripes can be made with paint or with a combination of masks and decals. Either way use masks to paint white background first.
