This project was developed for the 1/32 Trumpeter A-10A which will need to be converted to A-10C standards. Bulldogs marking already exists in 1/48 but to the best of my knowledge not in 1/32.
The 354th Bulldogs out of Davis-Monthan were deployed to Turkey in 2017 in the fight against ISIS and this decal sheet provides marking for 3 of their jet with stencilling for 2)
- The Dirty Pearl: 80-0275
- Ditzy Daisy: 81-0976
- Champs 1: 81-0983 (on deployment or as a display aircraft upon its return)
All jets are heavily weathered and are painted the last 2 tone grey scheme of FS36375 and FS36320 with a false canopy painted on the bottom nose in gunship grey.
Most decals are black and provide enough contrast over the model grey paint. Masks are nevertheless supplied as well in case you prefer to paint the larger black markings. Masks are mandatory for the tail fin flashes anyway as the decals will need white background.
